Demolition Estimating Services

Site demolition priced from removal to the last truck to the dump. Asphalt, concrete, structures, utilities, and clear & grub, with haul-off and disposal fees from real facilities.

Scope

What a Demolition Estimate Covers

  • Asphalt and concrete removal: areas and thickness, sawcut linear footage, and loose volumes for haul-off.
  • Structures: buildings, foundations, slabs, walls, and footings, with volumes for disposal.
  • Clear and grub: vegetation, trees and root balls, and debris removal.
  • Utility abandonment and removal: pipe removal, abandon-in-place with grout fill, and caps.
  • Curb, gutter, sidewalk, and site features: fencing, poles, signs, and landscape.
  • Haul-off and disposal: truck cycles to real landfills and recycling facilities, and current tipping fees.
  • Recycling and reuse: crushing or reuse of asphalt and concrete on site where the specs allow it.

Demolition Is Priced by Volume and Distance

Demo quantities on the plan are in square feet. What you pay for is loose cubic yards on a truck and tons across a scale. We convert every removal item to haul volume, pick the right equipment for the breaking and loading, and price the trucking and tipping to actual facilities in your market. We also check for what the demo plan leaves out: unmarked slabs, buried footings, abandoned utilities, and any hazardous material survey that changes who does what.

Demo as Part of the Sitework Package

Demolition usually leads into grading and paving on the same site. On a full sitework bid, demo, earthwork, and paving are priced together so recycled material, over-ex, and sequencing line up and nothing gets priced twice.

Common Questions

Do you include sawcutting?

Yes. Sawcut linear footage is taken off at every removal limit and priced by depth.

Do you estimate building demolition?

Yes, as part of site demolition: structures, foundations, slabs, and footings. Hazardous material abatement is called out separately in the scope letter.
