Sitework Estimating Services for Contractors

Outsourced sitework estimating by trade: earthwork, grading, paving, utilities, and demolition, priced by US field estimators who have run the work. Full bids or quantities, built around your bid date.

Pick the Scope. We Build the Number.

Every trade page below covers what we take off, how we price it, and the traps we look for. Most contractors send the whole sitework package; some send one scope. Either works.

How We Price

Sitework Is Priced by Production, Not by the Square Foot

Sitework cost lives in production rates and logistics. Two jobs with the same cubic yards can price nowhere near each other because one has a balanced site with a short push and the other has a 12-mile export to the only pit taking material. We build every number from the ground up:

  • Quantities by the geotech: cut/fill with shrink and swell, over-ex depths and limits, and unsuitable material pulled from the soils report, not assumed.
  • Equipment spread logic: scrapers vs. excavator and trucks, dozer push distances, compaction passes and water, matched to the site and the schedule.
  • Trucking cycles: real haul routes, load times, and dump fees to actual pits and landfills in your market.
  • Your costs or ours: your labor burden, equipment rates, and crew history when you have them, field-validated numbers when you don't.
  • Scope protection: a scope letter with inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications that holds up at buyout.

Sitework Estimating Questions

What does a sitework estimating service do?

A sitework estimating service prepares the quantities and pricing for everything outside the building footprint: earthwork and grading, demolition, paving, aggregate base, concrete flatwork, wet and dry utilities, erosion control, and walls. Earthworks NV delivers that as a full, submission-ready bid, not just quantities.

Do you estimate public works and prevailing wage projects?

Yes. Estimates are priced with the correct wage determinations, including state prevailing wage and federal Davis-Bacon rates where they apply. See government and prevailing wage estimating.

Do you work with contractors outside Nevada?

Yes. Every estimate is built remotely from your plans and specs and priced with your local rates, anywhere in the US and Canada.
