Full Bid Estimating Service: Complete Bids, Done For You

Takeoff services hand you quantities and wish you luck. Earthworks NV hands you the whole bid: measured, priced, scoped, and ready to sign. Built by a heavy civil contractor who bids work with his own money on the line.

The Difference

Takeoff vs. Full Bid: Why It Matters

A quantity takeoff answers one question: how much is on the plans? A full bid answers the questions that actually win and protect work: What does it cost to build? What production will the crews really hit? How many truck cycles does that export take, and to which pit? What did the geotech bury on page 40 that turns 6 inches of over-ex into 24? What needs to be excluded before it eats your margin? Those answers don't come from a classroom or a database. They come from seeing the problem before it happens, because you've built the work before.

If you're an owner-operator running crews all day, you don't have time to answer those questions for every invitation that hits your inbox. That's the entire reason Earthworks NV exists: outsourced sitework estimating at contractor quality, without hiring a $120K senior estimator.

What's in Every Full Bid Package

Built From Real Costs, Yours or Ours

No generic databases. Estimates are priced from real inputs in your market: local wage rates including prevailing wage and Davis-Bacon determinations, your trucking and pit material pricing or quotes we solicit, equipment rates for your owned or rental fleet, and production rates built from your crew history or our field-validated numbers.

And we bid off the full document set: not just the grading plan. The civil drawings and soils report don't always tell the whole story, so we cross-reference the structural, landscape, and architectural sheets to make sure nothing is left to the imagination. If something isn't clear, which happens, we flag it for an RFI, so the question gets answered before it costs anybody money.

Who Uses Full Bid Estimating

Excavation and grading contractors buried in invitations. Paving contractors whose estimator just quit mid-season. Utility contractors branching into full sitework packages. GCs who need a real number for the dirt scope instead of plugging a guess. Owner-operators who'd rather run work than fight a takeoff program at midnight. Send one bid or send every bid, no contracts, no minimums. Your quote is confirmed with you before we start.

Turnaround Built Around Your Bid Date

Standard full bid packages deliver in 3–5 business days. Tell us the bid date and we work backward from it, including a walkthrough call before you submit, so you understand every number you're signing.
